Generally furniture made up of wrought or low grade aluminum has a lot of problems with it. They are prone to breakdown upon heavy usage. They are either not resistant to rain or they get rusted or corroded very easily which in turn causes problems as the material starts chipping and the furniture starts looking ugly before finally breaking down. Low grade aluminum furniture is not that durable and long lasting. Another major disadvantage being that you can’t paint it, so in terms of beauty and appeal you don’t have many options.

You get furniture that is rain resistant, extremely durable (cast iron is used for rockets!!) and rust free. Plus when you compare it to wood, it is comparatively inexpensive and you have the option of trying out your designs and painting it to give it the exact kind of look you want. Plus it is lightweight and hence very easy to carry and more importantly it requires very little maintenance. Hence, it is a much smarter idea to go with cast aluminum patio furniture.
